Congratulations to Matt Gembka for completing the St. Malachi Run on March 13th in Cleveland Ohio. For those of you that don't know Matt Gembka, he is the owner of Time 2 Train gym. Matt was in a serious car accident that happened on May 8th of 2006 that left him severly handicapped. His body was smashed from head to toe. Matt says "I have steel legs from hip to ankle on both my right and left leg and a plate on my right leg where my femur bone is where 8 inches of bone was lost that is slowly growing back."

The St. Malachi run was a five mile run with over 3000 people that participated. It took Matt 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete. He did the race with Gabrielle Holland and Nick Zaenglein; two member of Time 2 Train

When asked to Matt his reason for doing the run, he explained he did it to inspire people. He did to send out a message to people who are going through tough times not to give up on themselves and have hope for greater days.

Matt also mentioned he was the only handicapped person at the event. He used his walker to complete the race. When asked how he felt after the race, Matt explained "I am getting back to myself. I'm doing things the doctor said I would never be able to do again. The doctors gave me a 43% chance to walk again. Now look at me!"

When asked to Matt what inspires him, he explained "All the people at my gym inspire me."
